Lake Ridge- A wonderful community in Woodbridge, Virginia Lake Ridge is a large homeowners association located in Woodbridge, Virginia. There are over 7700 property units situated on 4200 acres on the banks of the Occoquan River Reservoir. Property units include single family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and commercial properties. Schools, shopping centers, and churches also within the community! There are a large amount of amenities which include five pools, a sprayground, a boat ramp, community centers, sports fields, tot lots, basketball pads, tennis courts, ... and so much more. Lake Ridge is a very family friendly community with plenty of walking trails and sidewalks throughout the community. During the school year there are plenty of programs for children including a pre-school program and many sports programs (T-Ball and Baseball, Soccer, and football). During the summer months there are many different camps for the children of the community. SCHOOLS COMMUTING
- Express bus service to the Pentagonand Washington, DC is available within the neighborhood and at the entrance to Lake Ridge in the VDOT Commuter Lot
- Local buses run regulary throughout the neighborhood as well as other areas of Prince William County. Lake Ridge is one of the communities served by Omnilink

- Slugging is a result of the need to use HOV lanes on I-95/395 as much as possible. Commuters form a line at a designated Slug Line Stop in Lake Ridge - the VDOT Commuter at the Lake Ridge entrance. A driver will pull up to the line headed for the Pentagon, but needs one more passenger to qualify for HOV-3. The first person in line going to the Pentagon will join the others in the car and away they go. It's free commuting for the slugger and gives the driver availability to HOV lanes on I-95 - A much faster option for all!!
- Train The Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Woodbridge Station with rail service to Springfield, Crystal City and Union Station in Washington, DC is approximately a 20 minute drive from Lake Ridge in the morning rush hour. At Springfield you can switch to Metrorail that gives you access to the entire National Capital Area subway system.
- MCB Quantico is less than 30 minutes by car
- Fort Belvoir is approximately 30 minutes by car
